This is the first single from a new body of work I have been creating. It is a raw and reflective number which sits somewhere between my Journey Songs and Freedom Today in style.

The character in the song imagines the northern lights from the distance of ordinary life. The aurora is personified in its kindness and beauty, not scowling like a storm – but rather showing us hope regardless of the mess we cause the world or troubles we face.

The song also features the pure and wonderful harmonies of my friend Abi Blake as well as bass playing from my brother James Torbitt.
